Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 23, 2026
1. Introduction
PlumberQuickly ("PlumberQuickly," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website located at plumberquickly.com and the telephone connection and matching services offered through it (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how and why we use it, the categories of parties we share it with, and the choices and rights you have regarding your information.
By using our website, submitting a form, or calling any telephone number we publish, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Services.
2. Who We Are — A Free Referral Service, Not a Plumber
PlumberQuickly is a free referral and lead-matching service. We connect homeowners and other consumers who need plumbing help with independent, local plumbers and plumbing contractors ("Service Providers"). Using PlumberQuickly is free to you.
Important: PlumberQuickly is not a plumbing company, does not employ the plumbers or contractors we connect you with, and does not perform plumbing work. Service Providers are independent businesses. We do not supervise, direct, guarantee, or warrant the work, licensing, pricing, timeliness, or conduct of any Service Provider, and any agreement for plumbing services is solely between you and the Service Provider you choose to work with. Our role is limited to helping connect you with a provider.
We earn revenue when we connect consumers with Service Providers and advertising partners — including through pay-per-call arrangements, in which we may be compensated when your call is routed to a participating Service Provider or lead buyer. Because of how our business works, we share the information described below with our Service Provider network and marketing partners. We explain this in detail in Sections 6 and 7 so you can make informed choices.
3. Information We Collect
Contact and caller information you provide. Your name, telephone number, email address, service or property address (including ZIP code), and details about the plumbing issue you describe (for example, the type of problem, its urgency, and property type). You provide this when you fill out a form, request a quote or callback, or speak with our dispatch team by phone.
Call content and recordings. When you call a number we publish, we (and our dispatch and Service Provider partners) may collect the phone number you are calling from, the date, time, and duration of the call, and — where we record or monitor calls — the audio content of the call. See Section 9 for our call monitoring and recording notice.
Device, usage, and technical information. When you visit plumberquickly.com, we automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser type and settings, device type and operating system, referring and exit pages, the pages you view, links you click, and the dates and times of your visits. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).
Advertising and click identifiers. Because we run paid advertising campaigns, we collect advertising and click identifiers that let us measure and optimize those campaigns. These include Google Click Identifiers (gclid), Meta/Facebook Click Identifiers (fbclid), and UTM campaign parameters (such as utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign), along with associated referral data indicating which ad or channel brought you to our site.
Approximate location. We may infer your general geographic area from your IP address or from a ZIP or address you provide, in order to match you with nearby Service Providers.
We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, government ID numbers, precise geolocation, or health information through the Services, and we ask that you not include such information in free-text fields or voice messages.
4. How We Collect Information
- Directly from you — when you complete a web form, request a callback or quote, or speak with our dispatch team on a call.
- Automatically — through cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies that run when you visit plumberquickly.com, and through our telephone systems when you call us.
- From third parties — including advertising platforms (such as Google and Meta) that pass us click identifiers and campaign data, and analytics and marketing partners that help us understand and improve campaign performance.
5. Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking Technologies
We and our partners use cookies, web beacons, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, attribute leads and calls to the ads that generated them, and deliver and measure advertising.
We use these technologies for purposes including: essential site functionality; analytics (for example, Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site; and advertising and conversion measurement (for example, the Google and Meta advertising pixels/tags) to track which ads lead to calls or form submissions and to build and measure ad audiences.
Some of these technologies are provided by third parties who may set their own cookies and receive information about your interaction with our site. This activity — the sharing of online identifiers and browsing information with advertising and analytics partners — may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, or "targeted advertising," under certain state privacy laws. See Section 8 for your rights and how to opt out.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, through our cookie preferences tool. Many browsers also transmit a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal; where required by law, we treat a GPC signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information for the browser that sends it. Disabling cookies may affect how parts of the site function.
6. How We Use Your Information
- Connect you with one or more Service Providers and route or return your call or request;
- Respond to your inquiries, provide quotes and callbacks, and provide the Services you request;
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and telephone systems;
- Measure, attribute, and optimize our advertising campaigns and understand which ads and channels drive calls and form submissions;
- Communicate with you about your request, including by phone, text message, or email, subject to the consent terms in Section 10;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms; and
- With your consent where required, send you promotional or follow-up communications.
7. How We Share, "Sell," and "Share" Your Information
Sharing information is central to how a free referral service works. We want to be explicit about it. We disclose the categories of personal information described in Section 3 to the following categories of recipients:
Service Providers and lead buyers (our network). We share the contact and caller information you provide — such as your name, phone number, service address, and a description of your plumbing issue — with one or more independent Service Providers, and with lead-buyer or lead-distribution partners and affiliate networks that connect that information to Service Providers, so that a provider can contact you and offer to help. In some cases the same lead may be shared with more than one Service Provider. Because we may be compensated for these connections, this sharing may be treated as a "sale" of personal information under California and other state privacy laws.
Advertising and analytics partners. We share online identifiers, click identifiers (such as gclid and fbclid), cookie and device data, and campaign and conversion information with advertising and analytics providers (such as Google and Meta) to measure, attribute, and optimize our advertising and to build and measure audiences. Under California and other state privacy laws, this may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral / targeted advertising.
Service vendors and processors. We share information with vendors that perform services on our behalf — such as web hosting, call routing and dispatch, form processing, data storage, and customer communications — and who are contractually limited to using the information only to provide those services to us.
Legal, safety, and business-transfer recipients. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with a law, regulation, subpoena, or legal process; to enforce our Terms; to protect the rights, property, or safety of PlumberQuickly, our users, or others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.
We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age.
8. Your Privacy Rights
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights, subject to certain exceptions:
- Right to know / access — to request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the business or commercial purposes for collecting or sharing it, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed it.
- Right to delete — to request that we delete personal information we collected from you.
- Right to correct — to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information — as described in Section 7, we share information in ways that may be considered a "sale" or "sharing." You can opt out at any time.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information — we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted by law, but you may contact us with any request regarding sensitive information.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
How to exercise these rights. You may submit a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information using our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, or by emailing [email protected]. You may submit other rights requests (to know, delete, or correct) by emailing [email protected] or through our contact page. We will honor a valid Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out of sale/sharing where required by law.
We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request to know, delete, or correct, and we may ask for information sufficient to confirm you are the person about whom we hold information. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. We will respond to opt-out requests as soon as feasible and in any event within the timeframe required by law.
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Other States
If you are a resident of a state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and a growing number of others), you may have similar rights, which can include the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal information, and the right to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. Where these laws provide an appeal process, you may appeal a denial of your request by replying to our response; we will inform you of the outcome and, where applicable, how to contact your state attorney general.
9. Call Monitoring and Recording Notice
When you call a telephone number we publish, your call may be monitored, recorded, or transcribed by PlumberQuickly, our dispatch partners, and/or the Service Providers we connect you with, for purposes such as quality assurance, training, dispatch, matching, verification, and record-keeping.
Some states require that all parties to a call consent before it may be recorded. By calling us, or by continuing a call after being notified that it may be recorded, you consent to the monitoring, recording, and transcription of that call. If you do not consent, please do not remain on a recorded or monitored call, and instead contact us in writing at [email protected].
10. Consent to Be Contacted (Calls and Text Messages)
When you call a number we publish, you are asking to be connected with a Service Provider, and you consent to being connected, routed, and called or texted back by us, our dispatch team, and the Service Provider(s) we match you with regarding your request.
When you submit a form or otherwise provide your phone number and agree to be contacted, you consent to receive calls and text messages from us and from the Service Provider(s) we connect you with at the number you provide, regarding your plumbing request — including, where you have agreed, calls or texts made using automated dialing technology or a prerecorded or artificial voice. Consent to receive marketing calls or texts is not a condition of using the Services or of purchasing anything. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any text, and you may ask to stop calls by telling the caller or by contacting us at [email protected]. Opting out of marketing communications will not necessarily stop a Service Provider from returning your specific request.
11. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — including connecting you with Service Providers, attributing and measuring advertising, maintaining records of consent and calls, resolving disputes, and complying with our legal obligations — after which we delete or de-identify it. The specific retention period depends on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected, as well as applicable legal, tax, and recordkeeping requirements.
12. Data Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or telephone network, and no method of electronic storage, is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You provide information to us at your own risk.
13. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. If you believe a child under 16 (or under 13) has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
14. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website and communications may contain links to third-party websites and services, including those of Service Providers and advertising partners, that we do not operate or control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site or service you visit.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and post the updated Policy here. Material changes may be communicated through additional notice where required by law. Your continued use of the Services after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
